  • What are the benefits to having my cat professionally groomed?
The main benefit is having a happier, healthier cat that does not suffer from any of the painful and potentially life-threatening problems. And the best part is, you don’t have to do any of the grooming yourself! Leave that up to us!

  • Health or Medical Problems, Senior Cats
Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for a senior cat or cat with health problems, and can expose hidden medical problems or aggravate a current one during or after the groom. Because senior cats and cats with health problems have a greater chance of injury, these cats will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort, in styles that will not add to their stress. You agree to notify The Cat Stylist of any signs of injury or possible illness before any check-in for services as soon as the condition appears. In the best interest of your cat this agreement will give The Cat Stylist permission to obtain immediate veterinarian treatment should it be deemed necessary. We will do our best to contact you first, and then take your cat to your authorized veterinarian or to the nearest veterinarian that is available. It is agreed that all expenses for veterinarian care will be covered by the cat's owner upon reading and agreeing to this agreement. The Cat Stylist reserves the right to cancel services where a cat with a potentially infectious condition exists.
  • Vaccinations
We highly recommend that all kittens have completed their second round of vaccinations and adult cats to be up to date with their vaccinations as per your vet’s recommendations before they can be groomed at The Cat Stylist. This is not mandatory but highly recommended.
  • Accidents
There is always the possibility an accident could occur. Grooming equipment is sharp. Even though The Cat Stylist uses extreme caution and care in all situations, possible problems could occur including cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails etc. Every effort will be made to ensure your cat is groomed as safely as possible. Often cats behave much better when the owner is absent. For this reason we do not allow owners to stay during the grooming process.
